I don’t think I have ever had such a busy work week leading up to the Easter holiday. I haven’t had time to buy eggs for my church’s egg hunt, let alone spend the time I should have spent in reflection of what Easter really means.
I scrolled through Easter images on the internet. After dozens of pastel eggs and adorable bunnies, I finally spied what I was looking for- a cross. There it is.
I let my eyes linger on that image for a few minutes and just contemplate the cross.
“As for me, may I never boast about anything except the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of that cross, my interest in this world has been crucified, and the world’s interest in me has also died.” Galatians 6:14, New Living Translation, the Holy Bible
